I have to say my top favorite young adult series are the following;
-The Ugly series by Scott Westerfield. I read this in high school and it really helped me with my bad habit of scrutinizing my looks as I read about young Tally discovering being pretty isn't necessarily all its cracked up to be and having flaws isn't that bad after all.
-The Inheritance series by Christopher Paolini. This series holds a special place in my heart as it was one of the bigger book series I choose to tackle when I was also in high school. I loved the characters bonds and connections with each other and how they grew as time and events passed in the series. The Eragon at the end of the story is definitely not the same farm boy as he was at the beginning of the series.
-The Ash Princess series by Laura Sebastian. This series I have discovered more recently but I Immediately fell in love with the main characters tragic back story and her struggle to restore her home and bring justice to her people.

Same here. I received Eragon as a gift when I was around 15 and I'm glad and made the attempt to read it. The series turned out to be better than I expected.
Apart from that, I grew up with Harry Potter and the Percy Jackson series.
Words are, in my not-so-humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic - J.K. Rowling

Since Harry Potter has been mention for a lot of time, I'll be promoting some of my favorite series (and a stand alone book) that sparked my interest in reading, these are Heartless by Marissa Meyer, and the Defy series by Sara B. Larson. I love how the protagonist girls here are strong and independent!

I too am a great fan of Harry Potter. Also Percy Jackson. I even have the not as popular Harry Potter books. But my favorite series of all time is The Belgariad series and The Mallorian series. They are both by David Eddings and they are excellent. They begin with a young boy and tell the tale of his very remarkable life. He eventually finds out that he is the heir to the throne of t he most important land in his world. These series are the best read ever!!

Flame In The Mist by Renee Ahdieh surprised me with how good it was. I appreciate the author straying from the common tropes saturated in the YA space. Graceling by Kristin Cashore was quite original for its time, and I still haven't seen anything like Rae Carson's Fire and Thorns trilogy.

I liked Speak a lot too. Personally one of my favorites is "Before I Fall" by Lauren Oliver, I also like some of her other books. "The Giver" is a good one, and some other dystopian novels like "Hunger Games" were always some favorites of mine.

Harry Potter is one of my all time favorite YA books. The author does an amazing job creating a world where you can dive right into and it has become a world-wide success. I grew up with the books and I am so grateful she has built a franchise where I can still go back and be a part of.

The Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Diverent, The Matched Triology, The Selection Trilogy. I am also a big fan of Jodi Picoult but some of her books have some heavy topics.
