Harry Potter will always be my number 1 book, but a very close 2nd is the Divergent series. I love Tris as a character and it's such an interesting dystopian take.

Harry Potter was and always will be one of my favorite YA book series!

As an educator I try to read some of the YA novels that are coming out or have come out recently so that I am aware of what my kiddos are reading outside of the classroom (plus I always like to be able to give them recommendations too, I always LOVED when my teachers recommended me a book and I ended up loving it!)

Some of my recent favorites are:
We are all made of Molecules by Susin Mielsen
The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon
Everything, Everything by Niocola Yoon
Wonder by RJ Palacio
Chemistry by Weilke Wang

At the moment one book that i really liked from this genre would be the Eve books from Gi and Tom fletcher. I found the concept quite captivating, and exciting :D

I'm a big fan of The Redwall series, also Maniac McGee is a classic!!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!” HST

Well, when I find a writer I must sure that I've read all of the books that the author written. So I love all the books that Cassandra Clare, Sarah J. Mass and Marissa Meyer ever wrote. Because of that I don't have a specific "favourite" young adult or fantasy book :D

My guilty pleasure is the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead. The whole world she created was beautiful and I loved the dynamic of it being set in a high school, but with way more at stake than the usual teen gossip.

Couldn't agree more. The Harry Potter series will forever be my favourite YA. But since discovering
The 100
and ACOTAR I have a solid top three YA series!
