The plot is certainly very interesting. I am happy that the author was able to capture the emotions well, because this in undoubtedly a very emotional and stressful event. Thank you for your review, I do hope to get my hands on this soon.

Despite how tragic this story sounds, the depression that Abbie and her mother experience sound like it could happen in real life. Abbie seems like a well drawn out character, especially if she is a character a reader will want to comfort in the end. This story sounds a bit too depressing for me, but it seems to portray the effects of military deployment accurately. Thanks for the review.

Having been in the military myself, I can fully appreciate how difficult it would be for the family to deal with a soldier's deployment, especially to such a war-torn area. This genre isn't usually my forte, but your review makes the story sound very relatable. I might just give this one a try. Thanks!

This sounds really good. I had so many friends who were military brats growing up and I know it was super hard on them at times.

Sounds like an interesting read! As a mother myself, I think it is so important that we take a step back and look at life through the eyes of our children. We can learn so much from them.

Well-written review!

I love it when I find a book where side characters are developt as good as leading characters. Good job on the review. :tiphat:

Yeah this one is good, though i thought it has a story plot where the father and daughter has an intimate relations to each other, would've been so nice if it had one, but its ok,so cheer up to the author of this and keep on writing yo!! Aja!!!😊

I've never read a book concerned about military family. The review of the book sounds really interesting. It's a really tough time for people working in military as well as for their family members. Surely want to give this book a chance. Thank you for the great review.

I’m not from a military family, but from this book I gather that being in a military family and your family members deployed could be hard for anyone involved. Thanks for a detailed review.
