I liked the book immediately from the start. A story with heart about the main character that drops everything because someone needs help. It really feel like a feel - good book as the reviewer wrote. It is a great review and my gut feeling was right that is a great book about family.

Sounds like I need to add this book to my TBR pile in case I want a book that will make me cry. Which is very rare because I dislike crying. But I kinda wanna know what happens after the message is received. Great review!

An appealing story, an appealing review! E.D. Massey's Growing up Carrie has my attention and I feel like reading the book nonstop. It will be interesting to get to know a lot more on the interaction between Edward and Carrie.

This book sounds very intriguing to me and the beginning that you described makes me want to read the story. I like that this is feel good book because sometimes you need a story that picks you up and makes you feel happy. I like that the editing was done well with only minimal mistakes. I also enjoyed that the characters are from different parts of the United States and come together in Carrie's mother's time of need.

While I don't think this book is for me, I think the author did a great job of coming up with a unique premise. I would never have thought there is a book about two people connecting over a video game message. I'm glad the characters were all enjoyable; it seems like the book wouldn't have been as good with out that aspect. Thanks for the review!

Good review. This sounds like a very pleasant book to read. The first few pages appear to be the start of a love story between Edward and Tammy. The review sounds like it may be more about the love of a little girl.

As a gamer, I'm interested in this one. I haven't read a feel good book in a while, and this might be the one that fits for me! :) Congrats on BOTD, ED Massey.

It is easy to connect with the author right from the start of the book. Well I agree with you on the characters in this book. It takes a great heart to attend to a sick person you ve only met online.

I just read the sample and I can see what you mean. The easy writing style makes it a pleasure to read and I was pleasantly surprised about the Edward's immediately compassionate reactions to Carrie. Thanks for the review

“My mom is sick. Please call 602-431-1500.” After debating with himself, he gives in and makes the call. He had never met this girl's mother in person but had spent many hours chatting via online messages with her. They had never spoken by telephone. Little did he know this one message was about to change his life.
The story seems intriguing. It makes me curious to know what happens from this point until the ending. Thanks for the thorough review.
