I loved the beginning of this book. I think the author's writing style is what makes all the difference and makes it worth reading. Adem's confusion is wonderfully and realistically described. He is not your typical hero, but more of an ordinary teenager oscillating between light and darkness. Thank you for your review!

This sounds really good and now that I've heard it's rumored to be joining the Marvel Comics franchise, I'm even more excited to read it. I'm a huge superhero fan. I'm glad to hear that it's hard to put down. Thanks for your insight!

Wow! This sounds interesting! I like that these out-of-the-ordinary changes are brought on by puberty and that it takes place in school. I also find it funny that the main character is a bit paranoid.

The reader is able to well assess the book, from all aspects, by reading the 'Official Review: Opaque, by Calix Leigh-Reign'! I like the way, the review broadens our view about mutated humans, the descendants!

Uh, I'm not that keen on the Special Girl Saves The Troubled Boy trope. No offence.

I’m so glad to read that the strange abilities and mysterious enemies finally appear and form the focus of the story! The first few chapters are deeply disturbing when discovering the thoughts and desires of the protagonist. The book seemed dark, indeed, and confusing, right at the start, so I am interested to see how the author moves the characters into the other experiences and issues as described by Amazon and the reviewer.

A sci-fi novel about mutants. Seems fascinating. Too bad it's not my genre. I'm sure fans of sci-fi will enjoy it. Thanks for the review.

Opaque seems to be a unique YA fiction novel. I'm a fan of superhero materials, so, this should be interesting. Great review though.

Sounds like a good read. The theme of bloodlines has always interested me, I also like the psychological aspect of a disturbed teenager thrown in. It's certainly a book I would like to read.

I admit this was an interesting story, but I wish Adam was the only main character. Or he at least had more page time as the main point of view. I didn't really like Carly much. I might be alone in not liking Carly.

Story line sounds kind of like Wild Cards edited by George R. R. Martin that I have been working on reading and really enjoy.
I think that I will try to get around to reading it when I can.
Thanks for the great review!

I have just read the kindle sample of the book and I think the review covered the best parts, it's a good sci-fi
