I fell in love with the two main characters the way they did with each other. Towards the end their is some drama and it made me cry.
If you enjoy webtoons and cosplay this book is amazing. Some of the pages are actual webtoon pages. This makes the book even more beautiful.

It's a fantasy YA novel. It centers largely around Arthurian legend. It took me quite a while to adjust to the ranks they described in the novel. The story and characters, however, were captivating. It's about a young girl who leaves for an early college program after the loss of her mother and gets involved in a magical secret society. It provides great insight into how colonization has impacted POC, even today, and details the struggle of the main character as she tries to find and develop her identity. I'm big on think-pieces that are wrapped with magical bows, so to speak.
It is a longer novel, and it's a part of a series, but it is the first one out. It was published September of last year. I can't wait for the next one!

The Harry Potter series
The Hate U Give
Does The Shopaholic series count? If yes, then it's definitely a must-read.

Eoin Colfer: Artemis Fowel series is fantastic. Technically it's for as young as 8 or 9, but thoroughly enjoyable. I read the first one when I was in my mid 30s, looking for something to read with my daughter. She still isn't a reader, but I enjoyed them all.
Kathy and Brendan Reichs: Virals series is exciting and has the nice tie into the Temperance Brennan series.
Matthew Reilly: Hover Car Racer is fast paced like his adult novels.
