Thank you for this great review! From the historical perspective as well as a bird lover perspective you have me hooked! Congratulations, Malve, on getting such a great review and rating!

What an insightful review! I like that you mentioned that the author included passages from The Art of Falconry to reflect certain parts of the plot - nice touch.

Your review makes this book sound very enjoyable, chytach18. I like the entire concept of a historical tale revolving around birds.

Sounds like a really clever and unique way to structure a book! Im very intrigued, and I love when Historical Fiction novels include actual texts from the era they are in. Also, the characters sound so interesting!
I’m really impressed to hear that it has no faults and is well edited. Thanks for the review :)

This is a well written review although the book does not match my interest. It sounds so fictionalized.

I'm not much into historical novels, so I don't think I'd enjoy this book as much. I did like this review though. I think you did a good job outlining the book and piquing interest. Nicely done.

There's something very refreshing about seeing history through the eyes of young characters coming into their own. This is one of them as it not only does so with Andreas but it also sounds like it takes the reader on a journey of their own. Excellent review.
