To be 15 and an orphan is a challenge on its own, but to take in 7 other orphans to take care of when all the odds are against you is commentable. I truly excited to read about how Aiyasha handle all of this. Thanks for a wonderful review.

This sounds like an inspirational and educational book for children and teenagers. The themes of determination, perseverance, and the need for equality seem particularly prevalent, something we need to see more of in books for the next generation. Thank you for the helpful review.

The title in itself is provoking, with the adjective "dumb" but the quotation marks already show there's more behind it. I think one needs more to succeed than only resilience and determination, but these two elements are necessary starting points.

Aiyasha having to take on the burden of raising swven orphans at the tender age of fifteen sounds quite difficult. I am curious about how she overcame obstacles with resilience and determination. Congratulations on BOTD.

Thank you for the clear and amazing review. Resilience and determination are two great virtues that every individual should have. It does need to be included in school libraries. It will offer one to see how one care's for others and how different leaders behave too.

This does, indeed, look like a ‘must’ read! ""Dumb" Orphans" by Allan Low has lots of narrative about orphaned children who may not be able to go to school but are being educated in the ways of family because the orphans stay and strive together. The themes of resilience and determination were mentioned by the reviewer and those themes are excellently presented in this book.
If you're going through hell, keep going.

Congrats on being BOTD although I don't think I will be able to read this book. Though I am not an orphan, the story tends to hit a sore spot within me which is why I will take a pass on it.

The author's use of character development is effective in conveying these themes. The contrast between the selfish and selfless leaders in the story, as well as the mistreatment of orphans by those who should protect them, highlights the negative consequences of inequality and the importance of compassionate leadership. The perseverance and resilience of the Bundu Bunch, despite being labeled as "dumb" by others, shows that success is achievable through hard work and determination.

It hurts me when children, especially orphans are not given the necessary care and support they need. I perceive it as a form of child abuse. Nice review!

"Dumb" Orphans: A Bundu Bunch Trilogy by Allan Low is a story about man's behaviors especially when privileged in a powerful position. and how orphans should be given the same quality of care as all other children. Allan Low found that wonderful things can come out of less privileged people. He studied how egocentric leaders act compared to selfless leaders. He found that the less privileged can achieve a very successful life as long as they have the resilience and determination to succeed. Privilege does not guarantee success and that is very obvious in our American history. Our history shows that one does not need to be born into privilege to become extremely successful. One can also find many people born into privilege that do not amount to much or they use their privilege to cheat and steal from less fortunate people. Very good review.
