I love Katniss not just because she is realistic and so is her situation and story, but because there is also a lot one can learn from her and her character development. I can say nothing similar for Tris. Admittedly, I haven't read the entire Divergent trilogy, but just book one was so unenjoyable (yes, that is a word) for me that I couldn't continue.

I completely agree! I have to go with Katniss as well. It also bothered me how Tris was reckless in an irresponsible way. I felt that Katniss was reckless but always because she truly cared and would rather put someone else's life above her own, whereas Tris just didn't value her life.
