The book sounds really intriguing. I like mystery novels and I find the addition of magic even more appealing. It will be interesting to read the book and find out about the secret Julie keeps hidden that can save her and her family from ruin. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Unfortunately, I am not interested in reading this book personally, but I am definitely going to get it for my daughter. She might be grown up to select her own books, but I still try to influence her taste and I don't need to love fantasy worlds myself to recognize the quality literature. Thanks for the gift and congrats with BOTD!

Interesting! I am intrigued by the drunkard inspector, the case to resolved, and the relationship between the inspector and Julie. Good review.

I love fantasy books and mystery books so this sounds like it is right up my ally! I can't wait to read it. I'll probably start it tonight. I'm new to the book club and just posted my first review. Looking forward to many more. Will I be able to review this book? I hope so! It sounds great!

A mix of magic and murder is a fine read. I say so because I have ever read one before. In my opinion, it is not surprising, if a murder case can be solved easily. Of course, that is one of the advantages of being a mage. Thanks for your honest opinion about the book.

'Official Review: Inspector Mage' by Aleese Hughes gives an overall concept of the mystery tale to readers. The reactions to the book provided by the reviewer are interesting to follow. The point that the book is a story of murder mystery with a bit of magic to help do the solving is worth mentioning in the review. Also, the point that it is a blend of fantasy and mystery, as mentioned in the review, is remarkable for readers. Nice to learn that the story is an engaging and intriguing murder mystery!

It looks like a thrilling sci-fi novel, with an engaging murder mystery. I look forward to the suspenseful parts in the later parts of the book, and I am actually enjoying Russel's character so far.

Thanks for the review. Murder mysteries are always interesting when you can make your own guess on the suspects as the main characters gather clues. It is a shame that the reviewer was able to guess the culprit within the early chapters. It takes away some intrigue from the story. Congrats on BOTD.

Encompassing two of my favorite genres, this BOTD is a fantasy and mystery novel with intriguing characters. Definitely placing this on my want-to-read shelf. I wonder what secret Julie is hiding? Good review.
