She might be grown up to select her own books, but I still try to influence her taste and I don't need to love fantasy worlds myself to recognize the quality literature. A mix of magic and murder is a fine read. I say so because I have ever read one before. In my opinion, it is not surprising, if a murder case can be solved easily. Of course, that is one of the advantages of being a mage. Thanks for your honest opinion about the book.

Thanks for the review. Murder mysteries are always interesting when you can make your own guess on the suspects as the main characters gather clues. It is a shame that the reviewer was able to guess the culprit within the early chapters. It takes away some intrigue from the story. Congrats on BOTD.
