"Inspector Mage" by Aleese Hughes. An interesting story book, has lot to do with action, suspense and a notorious serial killer. Inspector Russell Gaines on his own side gave up the title after failing to bring down New Age God. Julie Melton now has taken over from Russell Gaines as the new inspector. Congrats on your #BOTD.

I'm a huge fan of fantasy books, especially the one that uses magic to solve mysteries. I found the storyline of this book very intriguing and the plot amazing. I wish to congratulate the author on being the #BOTD!

Murder, mystery, magic? What a delicious trio for the perfect murder suspense novel. The main character, Russell, seems to be combating his own demons while he's under the pressure of trying to catch an elusive killer. This adds more dynamism to the novel, when the good guys have bad luck. The sample intrigued me enough that I would like to read the book. Congrats to the author on your work being selected for book of the day.

I care less about novels that feature magic, but I love good mysteries because they engage with my brain and I believe this book has a little of that. Well done.

I love it! I love the cover depiction of a lovely young woman and a pair of chilling yellow eyes in the sky looking right at me! I also like the idea of blending genres. This work is definitely worth my time! Congrats on the BOTD.

( Inspector Mage Blood on the Floor written by Aleese Hughes)is the first book in a Trilogy. It seems to be a fantasy book for readers. Inspector Gaines has a Mage
Gift, he keeps getting notes from the killer. When he hailed the carriage , he did not know he would be riding with the man known, as New Age God. I am looking forward to reading more of this book. Congrats on being BOTD! :)

very good review. Though the novel seems full of mystery and magic and is well=written, I am too old for this kind of stuff.

The cover on this novel is very eye-catching. I expect the blend of magic, mystery and murder will appeal to young adults and older that like either of those genres. I found the narrative to be descriptive and engaging. Thanks for a good review on this book.

I have been reading more fantasy books lately and Inspector Mage sounds like a good mixture of fantasy and mystery. I am a bit disappointed that the reviewer mentioned how she figured out the murder mystery halfway through the book. I love twists and turns and the unexpected. I will definitely give the book a try and is on my reading list. Thanks for a great review!
