This book has an interesting plot and a nice mix of humor and suspense. The characters are appealing, and the mystery of the magician's box is intriguing. Unfortunately, it has an abundance of errors. So, I will have to pass on this one. Maybe the author will eventually get it edited. Then I will be able to finish reading it

it seems that science fiction writers often have a very unique sense of humour. The Machine seems worth giving a try despite the grammatical errors.

It seems George is set on an adventure of a lifetime. I am glad the book's characters are brilliantly developed and relatable. Thanks for the review.

:techie-studyinggray: I think that while reading any book , reader must have to attend on thoughts, sentences. Stories, theme, value of all these .Not need to attend grammatical mistakes. It must be right but for it special people will attend. Who is not a reader. When we are a perfect reader. Then you must have to ubderstand all these things automatically. The book is very nice.

The book sounds like a riveting young adult read. Mick’s extraordinary journey with his intelligent pet dog Jeff will appeal to many fans of this genre. Not a fan, though. Otherwise, Congrats on the BOTD.

Oh, I was sad to hear this was a cliffhanger. I want to read this because of the humour and the fact that it’s set in the 1940’s. Thanks for your review.

If the book is humorous, then so is your conclusion describing the grammatical errors as ubiquitous. I find that books in the first person narrative render humour effectively and I am glad you note this about this one. However, it’s simply sloppy by the editor to release it unedited.

The plot of the book seems really interesting to me. As mentioned it contains a number of errors, but I think the story is that captivating as well. I would definitely try to give it a try. Thanks for the wonderful review.

That mysterious box reminded me of Pandora and her box. This book looks so enjoyable and it seems like it has so much potential. I hope the writer has edited this so we can have a smooth read. I'll give this a try. Thanks a lot.

What a peculiar hobby Mick has! I wonder what's with the box, will it better his fate or will it worsen it? Such a captivating plotline, I feel so sorry that it has many grammatical errors. Thank you for the honest review!
