Sophia Violet and the Fiery Orb is an adventurous fantasy in which the protagonist realizes that she is not an ordinary girl but has links from another planet.

I have just read the first chapter and was mesmerized with the description of how the new born Sophia reacted to the world around her in the morgue. I was pleasantly surprised as well during the scene in the parking garage where Sophia's father turned into a panther. I was not expecting that. I really don't want to put this down. Your review reflects what i have experienced so far and makes me want to finish this book even more. Thank you for this review.

The storyline looks good. Though common, yet masterly carved out to bring some uniqueness. Thanks for this review. Congrats on BOTD.

A clever girl with violet eyes, a wicked grandmother, and a set of recently discovered secret powers?! Now that definitely sounds like a fanciful tale full of excitement and intrigue.

I feel like I wanna be Sophia now. Certainly the type of book I want to read. I like the message in this book about being true to yourself and self-aware.

Wow a novel about shape shifting. Something I'm very interested in reading. And the book also seemed to have well developed characters and a storyline. An amazing journey it seems. I hope Sophia get to succeed in her mission with her friends. Thank you for a wonderful review and recommendation.

I like how the name of the book relates to the main character. This review has shown the book as having a lot of adventure. The inclusion of another planet makes it even more exciting.

This sounds like a wonderful book. I was always an outcast in school, pretty much still am an outcast. I enjoy books where the oddballs have their chance to shine.

Seems like something I'd like to check out! It's nice that it has a different take in its feministic approach.

This sounds like an exciting storyline. I am not sure, however, of the characterization but I will have to find out for myself. Thank you for your review.

This is a young adult sci-fi read. I love the build of relationship of young women to the rescue of the missing orb. I love their bravery and team work.

It seems like this book is very exciting! It is also refreshing to see a YA fiction novel with female protagonists that doesn't include a strange love triangle. Great review!

The plot looks quite intriguing and adventurous. I loved the cover as well. But I usually do not pick sci-fi books, so will skip this one.
