Why do we always lose such good books to editing? This sounds so amazing and it seems to be touching on a very real issue we face today, with technology almost hypnotizing the world. Thank you for such a great review.

Thank you and I totally agree, editing is the downfall of many a good book.

exciting technology based sci-fi
this roles me out, but I appreciate your review.
Anyone who says they have only one life to live must not know how to read a book.

I love this story line. It sounds incredibly fascinating and fast-paced. Also sounds like it would make a great movie. Thank you for indicating the deaths aren't graphic as that can easily impact my decision about reading a book. Wonderful review.

I know I replied to this one, but my post is nowhere to be found.

I think Alex is a wonderful hero to fight the boob tube and save the couch potatoes. And his friend Sara running interference is endearing. I think I will totally enjoy this book; I lose normal a lot.

This plot feels quite credible - between TV and video game addiction - a life lived virtually seems like it might become a reality one day. I also like the idea of the rebellion taking place in bookshops. Great review :D

Thank you very much. Yes, I liked the bookshop resistance.

I usually don´t go for sci-fi, but this book really has an original premise! And it´s quite thought-provoking too if you think in the resistance as people who still use their imagination and criteria and in the AI technology as the control that the media has over us. Plus, the main character sounds so interesting!
Great review, thanks!
