Oh, I love this book so much. I am so ready for the second to come! The ending was very good, although I slightly expected a few things (the "wicked witch" living through, the romance).

I was mildly disappointed with the ending, but hey, what will happen next?

Just finished an advanced copy of The Mime Order! So much better than The Bone Season in pacing, and action packed from start to finish.

The ending was surprising, but by the time I realized it, I had already dug myself into a hole that was way too deep to climb out of.

The mind really can play tricks... Some books can lose the wood for the trees, when it comes to basic storytelling.

I found out it was a series about halfway through the book, luckily or else I would have been extra disappointed. I felt like the ending was kind of anti-climatic (weird since there was a lot going on) and could have ended in a different spot. I'll keep reading the series because now I have to know what happens. The ending was lacking, but not enough to ruin a book I enjoyed.

And as far as her "weird, alien lover" I weirdly had more trouble with the age thing, she was way too young to be dating a 200 something year old

I knew it was an ongoing series, so, the ending did not disappoint me, but it was a bit abrupt though.

I felt disappointed at the close of the novel. I too found it to be anticlimactic and felt a little..empty? The novel itself was choppy and felt a little inconsistent in tone and I found the word choice to be distracting and ill-fitting at times
