This book is not what I had thought. It seems more serious than just a ghost story! Thank you for the review.

This seems like a very interesting book. However, I'm not much into ghost stories, I think it may Scare me a little and I'll end leaving it half way. Thanks for the review.

This sounds like a good book. I don't know if I can continue reading though. It is really sad because of the abuse going on that is never addressed in the sample. Everyone seems to be doing some type of abuse to the children.

This book about John's childhood life story as a young boy, is a humorous read, however, his living together with ghosts may be scaring to me. I like it that the author has brilliantly captured the thought of a young boy and therefore the storyline will be captivating. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the review. The abuse part of the story may very well break my heart especially as it isn't fictional so I'm going to pass on this one. Congrats to the author for making rave comments.

After reading in your review that this book is written from the point of view of a young boy, I needed to read the sample. I am very impressed with the writing style. Your review really let me know what the book was about.

I know this will sound really weird, but our family lived in a haunted house, which make it easy to relate with the described in the review, but first the book, based upon the review it is a very good book for receiving the highest rating. Being able to turn a macabre topic into an interesting story and even inject humor requires a lot writing ability, again this will be an interesting read because there countless reports of haunted houses including my own experience, which I believed must brought into the light of public knowledge because these spirits appearing in a human abode is bad news as they bring negativity and bad luck. Thanks to the author for exposing these bad spirits.

It is easy to see things with humor when a 5-year-old tells you but I will deduce that John seeing or encountering ghost is euphemism for the trauma and abuse he suffered, a house without bathrooms? Seriously? I tried to imagine it, wasn't great. I can understand how this will bring you to tears. :?

A book with a lot of insights from a child's perspective. It sounds like an emotional read too. Thanks for your review.

The review has done a great job on the structure of the review. Makes a reader to identify with the reviewer's mind on the book.

It sounds as if the author did a really good job of conveying the child's perspective. The additional aspect of the ghosts is different and interesting.
