No wonder the author sounded so familiar, I also know of her book Ironbark Hill thanks to Online Book Club. While I am not a romance reader in general, I confess I'm curious about the forbidden affections described in your review. I wish there had been more detail about the romance as that would have helped me in final my decision to read this or not, but I do love that readers get to watch the main character grow up from a child to young woman.

Thanks for your review. This sounds like a heartwarming story. I like the imagery of the mother and grandmother laughing together and the father comforting Jancy.

This sounds like a good coming of age story, with romance and humor as well. I find those type of books sometimes and inspiring and I look forward to checking this one out.

Seems like we have a unique romance novel here. Thanks for the enthralling review and for describing this book so well such that one can make a decision to read it or not. I might consider reading this later.

Another superb coming-of-age story from the author! Sounds like an interesting tale of how Jancy manages to find her true self and love. I like how you state that the whole book seemed to be serious and heavy but the author's writing style, especially her choice of words, had made the book easy and heartwarming to read. Thanks for this detailed review!

These types of coming-of-age stories are not typically my kind of goto books, but this does sound like an interesting story that I would definitely recommend to a few friends that are bigger fans of these stories.

More Heavens Than One by Jennie Linnane is a #Romance fiction set in #Australia. It chronicles Jancy Steinmetz' #ComingOfAge and forbidden affection.

Both your review and the blurb had piqued my interest. I will read the entire contents of this book.

I am finding that less is more in books of this genre. I'm happy to know that intimate scenes are left up to the reader's imagination. Thank you for your review. The sample has been interesting thus far and am happy to read the rest of it. Thank you for your review!

Sometimes we have difficult choices when it comes to love. It may involved giving up the one you love to follow a more practical journey.

Sounds like it's a book that will appeal to fans of cleaner romances that elicit emotions and focus on the more important aspects of a relationship and falling in love. I enjoyed reading your review. Thanks for making it so detailed.
