Thank you so very much. She has a great way of weaving a tale. I enjoyed this book so much that I’m sad it’s over and done! I appreciate you reading my review. 😊

strawberrysab wrote: 24 Aug 2018, 08:24 I love a nice romance, especially when well written, bonus point if set in Australia! I like that it seems to gravitate a lot around the family life and, well, the author is already a guarantee of an excellent reading.
The author is a fantastic writer! I was so happy to have the opportunity to read this book after her other one. Thank you for reading my review. I appreciate it.

Your review me has me sold on to add this book to my TR list. I am a fan of romance genre but far too many books just concentrate on the physical aspect of man-woman relationships. This book seems to have incorporated many elements that will make the romance all the more enriching. Thanks for the review!

Is the romance part about Jancy or Liz or the Uncle? Sounds like an interesting story especially due to the humor part but I'd have loved to know more before trying it.

A romance novel revolving around the life of a farming family in Australia during the 1950s sounds intriguing. It is good that the book was well edited despite some minor errors. I am not much of a romance fan either, nor am I fond of forbidden love, but I am glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for the review!

I enjoy romance and personal narratives, like this one. I also read Ironbark Hill and I know for sure the author is quite talented and her use of language is amazing, as you mention. I'm glad there's some humor because some of the subjects approached can get pretty intense.
I'll definitely be adding this to my to-read shelf.

I read this book and thoroughly disliked it. It's not a simple, wholesome romance. It's a long tale about a young girl as she grows older, who ends up in a taboo relationship. Really, it should have come with a disclaimer.

The protagonist of this story is Jancy a teenager and a keen observer of thing happening around her life. It seems like a family story with a twist of romance and humor.

More Heavens Than One by Jennie Linnane sounds like a great romance novel. Am intrigued by the positive portrayal of family relationships and thus can't wait to read it page by page. Great review.
