I like historical fiction when comes to problems about its time or era is raised. This one has an extra blend to it with the romance. Good book for a satisfying read.

This book sounds interesting and well-written apart from the switching of accents. If I was interested in Romance novels, I might give it a try, but they're not really for me.

The storyline sounds so interesting I've definitely added this to my bookshelf! The story line seems like a typical slave and master love story but with an interesting twist. Great review.

I just love it when the “bad guys” are so much fun to hate and even the minor of character contained a backstory and motive. Makes the story more real, in my opinion.

This book is a historical romance, with a bit of adventure, although it contained explicit scenes to me. I really enjoyed reading this review. Nice review.

A lovely dose of romance in a historical fiction
I find this book cover very attractive but I feel like when it’s combined with the book title it is a bit revealing as to what the book is about and I’m not a fan of that but overall it’s looking good
The reviewer also did a great job and I commend them for that

I really like the story line and the way you described it the book seems to be amazing. Always love a good love story, so why not about a slave? I can’t wait to read it.
Thanks for the review.

Lovable Lilian is sold into slavery at a very young age. She experiences various life-changing situations and discovers an innate skill for the piano. Her quest remains to find her mother whom she was taken from. The storyline seems refreshingly pleasant

The Prodigy Slave, Book one: Journey to Winter Garden ~ is a Romantic Novel Book. Well-written. Suspenseful. Tells a story of Lily, a slave who was ripped out off and sold in an auction to a rich life. Romantic.

Interesting twists and turns. A typical slave, master storyline. Historical Romance. Intriguing deceit.

The historical slave love story that makes a reader to feel a whole lot of emotion all centered on the loving character- Lily. I too am wondering how she got to learn how to play the piano. Thank you for your insightful review.

I love romance novels and have been waiting for this book to be available. I like that lily is the main character, she seems strong.

The plot seems interesting. But I am generally not fond of romantic novels.

As we allow cultures and customs to integrate, we celebrate diversity and allow possibilities of romance to flourish. Historical romantic relationships developed contrary to social and societal norms, but some survived against all odds. The requirement to conform and stay within the law was non negotiable. Your life and that of family members depended on the choices you make. Lily is a fictional character, but many a young Lily was snatched from her mother's arms to serve an exploitative sentence under a vile master. A painful, but very brave account reflecting the sober realities of abuse and discrimination. Well done with BOTD!

I like the plot of this book and the strong female character portrayed by Lily. This story resonates with me, there is nothing as priceless as unconditional support from friends. I definitely would like to read more.
