I hope that no one was put off by any misunderstanding regarding this, thinking that it promoted underage relationships or relationships between student and teacher, when it does not.
Thank you for clarifying that aspect. I thought, from your review, that it didn't include an underage relationship of the sordid sort but I wasn't completely sure. This is definite a story for me to consider adding to my "want to read" wish list.

Micoleon13 did a great job at describing the book in details. It is rare to find love story settings amongst the elderly. Great job micoleon13.

This sounds intriguing. I wonder who was murdered. I like that the story started in present day then reminisced in the 60s and both had their points of view. Thank you for your review!

A romance book revolving around the love story that develops between an art teacher and her younger student 1960’s sounds lovely. Complex characters, good pace, and good writing add to the appeal. That it got significant plot twists is another plus. It isn't for me, but I am glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for the review!

I like reading stories that make you smile, laugh, and cry. The romance of Marion and Jonathan must have had some interruptions along the way. Great job on the review.

This sounds like an easy beachy read, but it addresses weightier topics such as teacher/student relationships and contraversial age gap. It sounds like Marion and Jonathan have the odds stacked against them and I wonder how this is going to play out. Thanks for the engaging review!

Romance genre is among my favourite genres especially when it has a great plot. Breaking Sandcastles by Kirk Burris appears to possess most features about the books I like. I'm intrigued by the chemistry between Marion and Jonathan. Love at times happens in unexpected places and in unexpected ways with unexpected people. I can't wait to read this amazing love story between Marion and Jonathan. Great review.
