This book reminds me of what happened with the author Jack Winnick's Lara and Uri series. The books are standalone, but without reading the other books, there is no way to know what role most of the characters play. I have saved this one to my Bookshelves, but I will likely read the first book in the series before I explore this one. Thanks for the honest review.
