Icon Lingus by Mariana Zapata

Post by BeboTran »

Who is a sucker for some slow burning romance?

I clearly am, upon seeing a friend of mine posting about LINGUS by Mariana Zapata, I had to check it out and oh my, I was hooked from the first page to the last!

Lingus was written beautifully by Zapata, I was not disappointed at all. From the witty characters to the characters development, this book will have you laughing and burning for the main characters.

On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best) I give this book an awesome 7! It is quite short, I was laughing at the witty dialogues, but I did wanted more. A little more on characters development and in depth to the relationships of each character.

It is a quick read, so if anyone needs a slow burning romance novel thats funny go for Lingus! :D

First off, I love Mariana Zapata and her slow-burning romances. For some reason they seem more realistic than most romance fiction. That said, I thought Lingus would be the her one book that I wouldn't like, perhaps because of the theme (the porn industry is rather controversial in most circles). I was glad to be sorely disappointed. It was fun, intimate, and definitely took me out of my comfort zone but it was sooo worth it!

Mariana Zapata is famous for her slow-burn romances, I love all of them, my favourite would have to be, The Wall of Winnipeg and Me or Kulti. Lingus my not be one of my favourites but it was an amazing book nonetheless, it was filled with fun and cute moments.
