This sounds like a compelling character-driven novel. I also like that there is a diverse cast of characters. The themes seem a bit heavy, but not so much that I wouldn’t consider reading the book. Thank you for the helpful review.

Thank you for the review on Unsound by Ash Finley! Troubled teens find themselves at Rainier, a boarding school for kids at risk. The book gives you insight into their growth, adventures and healing. A good book for young adults finding themselves at crossroads. The positive aspects give one hope that there are people who care and all is not lost. Congratulations on BOTD!

This school is a good place to rehabilitate not just teens but also adults struggling with issues. I love the Rainier boarding school idea it seems to be geared towards the right ways.

Young adults are faced with different challenges when they are coming of age. The struggle with acceptance, and self-confidence among many others. All these challenges are caused by the new development in the body, all they need is proper love, care, and guardian.

The teen years are difficult enough to get through but when teens get into drugs, must live unsheltered, have low self-esteem or a myriad of other problems it makes growing up a real nightmare. A high school in the remote forest of Washington state seems like it could be a good setting for some teens to get their lives back on track. "Unsound" by Ash Finley starts with the action and angst on the first few pages and it seems like an unforgettable read with some teen romance as well. I like the fact that the review states that the perspective shifts between at least four of the characters. That could make some very in-depth character descriptions and the reader can know each person better through the characters’ own voice.

This is a brilliant idea executed by the author; putting troubled youths together in a place, things are bound to happen. It does sound interesting, as I look forward to reading it.

Thank you for your exciting and wonderful review about this coming of age young adult themed story. Your review was well written and shared just enough to get us to want to read it, except for the fact that there’s profanity in it. That stops me from enjoying it. So sad too. I’m sad, I was wanting to read it. Awesome job!!
