A few of my favorites are Stephanie Laurens and Susan Johnson. Johnson is a spicy erotic writer but places it in a beautiful love story. Laurens specialty I think is making beautiful series and connecting characters with witty and delightfully beautiful love stories.

Jayne Ann Krentz who writes in a variety of genres. Amanda Quick for historical fiction, Stephanie James for westerns, Jayne Castle for paranormal and a few others. The plots are always well thought out and defined, the character development is incremental leading the reader to want to know more about the hero or heroine and I have yet to find one book that was not a page turner.

colleen hoover
If you say the word romantic then the first thing that comes to my mind is "COLLEEN HOOVER " the way she portrays the love scenes is out of this world. Many of her novels like maybe some day, maybe not, November 9 are so aesthetically written that you feel as if u r living in the moments.

My favourite authors are Colleen Hoover and Kelly Oram. Hoover always makes mes question my beliefs and feel so much for the characters she creates, while Oram always manages to make me laugh and get excited like a 5-year-old.

For me, I think it's a tie between Kresley Cole and Nora Roberts. Both have the formula for writing romance down perfectly. Cole's books tend to be a bit racier, but they both weave a beautiful story.

Oh, my goodness! What a great question! I'm going to go through and see what other posts mention authors I enjoy. Hopefully, I can learn about new authors to enjoy by seeing who else they list as a favorite author.

My favorites (although this isn't 100% endorsement of every single book they've ever written) are:

Judith McNaught
Julie Garwood (only her historicals. Her modern characters aren't as well written, IMO.)
Jayne Ann Krentz
Christine Feehan
Maya Banks (KGI series)
Nalini Singh (Guild Hunter series)
Lisa Marie Rice
Gena Showalter
Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb
Thea Harrison (Elder Races series)
Kristen Ashley

What a question! It's really hard to say that I have one favourite author. There's too many great authors to choose from. Here are some of my top favorites:
J.T. Geissinger
Nicholas Sparks
John Green
Samantha Young
Kendall Ryan
