Reading the character description, I had pictured Enrique way older than he must be
The problem you mention about the dialogues is something I noticed in several books. Probably the authors get better at writing from chapter to chapter but rarely rewrite the first ones.
Thank you for the great review!

Thank you for the kind words. I hope you get to read the book to find out the answers!

If I remember correctly, I believe he was in his forties. I agree with you about seeing that on other occasions as well. I appreciate you stopping by and sharing your thoughts!

Seems like an exciting fast pace read. However, reading your review, I felt like I already know what is gonna happen when you revealed a bit too much. I enjoyed your review, though.

This review got me really interested in reading this book! I'm already itching to know what happened between them and who planted the bomb. I really enjoy romances where the characters start out with animosity between eachother and seeing how they grow from there, the suspense is definitely an added bonus. :D

It was easy to be instantly drawn into Then Came July. Cornelia Allen possesses an engaging writing style that captures the reader’s attention, drawing them into the characters’ lives, and forcing them to invest in people they barely know from the first few pages. This is the sign of a good book, and the author continues to deliver on this promise page after page as we find ourselves thrust into a plot filled with danger, questions, and hope. Vibrant, vivid, and realistic characters complete with flaws, failings, and their own selfish drives enhance the riveting plot as we see not only a quest for answers, but a search for something else, a chance neither Rick nor July thought they would have; a chance at love. Beautifully written, deep, engaging, and captivating, you won’t want to put this book down.
