Exactly. It took me a while to get my bearings at the start of the book. Thank you.

Definitely. She could have explored a lot more in this book but she didn't. I believe this is a prequel, so maybe she didn't feel the need to expand on the storylines in this book.Thatonecupcake2 wrote: ↑11 Jul 2020, 04:44 I love this short but meaningful! I think the author could have, got away with making it a bit longer. I seem to find the longer the more, of a story it tells you, and the more you can imagine it, and follow with the story line.

If you do read it, I hope you enjoy it. Thank you.Lizziemarcel wrote: ↑11 Jul 2020, 04:52 I love romantic books, and I would really like to read the book to know what romance in the 60's is like and being that its concise, making it a quick one to finish. Thanks for the honest review.

I understand what you mean. Certain scenes did have a movie-like feel to them, which didn't work as well in print. Thanks!Priyanka2304 wrote: ↑12 Jul 2020, 12:12 The story felt like taken straight out of a movie. A lot of things seemed predictable. Thanks for the review.

Thank you. I usually focus more on reviewing the content rather than techniques but in this case, they took away from the plot of the book.Pearl Akpan wrote: ↑14 Jul 2020, 10:18 I like how concise this review is. I’d like to understand from the writers perspective how romance in the 60s was. I appreciate the very objective light this review has shed on the techniques employed by the writer.

Yes, sometimes it's nice to get to the end of a book quickly. Thank you!Rachel_Emmanuel wrote: ↑14 Jul 2020, 17:35 The fact that the pages are not much is quiet encouraging to pick the book. Good review
