Romance, Dark crime, sensual scenes, and a love triangle with family drama and much more. A perfect book for the lovers of thriller and crime, but if someone doesn't like love triangles, then you may have to think before picking it up. You wrote a great review!

I do not go for romance. That is my initial declaration. But for romance that can show the deepness of the emotion, I am willing to contradict my declaration. With suspense and crime, I doubt if the pureness and deepness of the romance element would not be diluted. I would go for the suspense and crime in the story, however. But of course, if the crime is too horrible, I may put a stop to it. Yet there is something so dark in a crime thriller author character that has a dark past. It can attract the reader, in my opinion, despite warning the reader of horribleness. In short, I would be going for the story. Just like the others, I do not like love triangles for a thousand reasons. The conflict presented will make up for it, perhaps.

Romance isn't my preferred genre. Although the mystery/crime aspect and the plot of this book sound very intriguing, I'm unwilling to read the book because of the presence of erotic and violent content.
But your review is great.
Thanks for this thorough and amazing review :tiphat:

This looks like an excellent romance novel for those that enjoy that particular genre. However, as I'm not interested in romance or erotic type novels, I will be passing on this one. Thank you for such a nicely-written review though.

The books that include romance, suspense, and crime are always exciting. I never seem to be able to keep such books down. These books keep us wanting to read more. But love triangle with dangerous past lives of the people included in it never ends well. This review is written beautifully, thank you for this great review!

I generally don't enjoy reading love triangles and find them frustrating. However, this story seems to drip with passion, suspense, and romance. Readers who enjoy this genre will definitely be satisfied! Congrats on the BOTD selection!

I avoid steamy romance like plague, but the sample was engaging to read. I even giggled at the part when Jazz was first introduced. She's definitely the kind of friend who sticks with you through thick and thin. Thanks for your detailed review.

This seems like a fast-paced thriller and romance novel. The summary is captivating and makes me want to read more about this book. I wonder what dark past these guys had and how crime comes into the picture. Can't wait to read it. Great review.
