The thing I like about this is that it takes a concept applied best to a fantasy setting and gives it over to romance. There's a lot of action and adventure, from the looks of it, but nothing that would detract from the romance with Rachel. It all seems geared towards heightening it.

Secrets, spies, fugitives, mysticism, and supernatural elements?! My what a colorfully grand tale this must have been. Thank you for your lovely and insightful review of it!

My degree is in music, so it sounds like you and I have something in common. I love that the violin sends him through time. Great review! I will keep it in mind to read in the future.

This can be a super interesting book because what doesn’t seem real or for a lack of better words, there can be a realm that does exist that we just might not be able to see. Hence, the boy touching a violin to be transported somewhere else. What if we expanded our minds and “facts” were just that but “truth,” is what it is. This could be a metaphorical way to explain literal terms! Love the idea, magic and mystery behind this authors ideas!!

Too bad about the lack of depth in characterisation, but the premise and the pace will probably make up for it. I might want to give it a read. Thanks for the suggestion and the wonderful review!
