I love this book already, it could easily be made into one of those movies I normally watch on the Hallmark channel. Your review is very detailed.

Thank you for your insightful review. I actually find the name 'Xo' to be really cute! The book seems interesting, and as it is a short one, I wouldn't mind reading it either.

There is so much to like about this novella! This sounds like a promising new author to follow. Thanks for this recommendation. I will be looking into Ms. Huffman's work.
Thank you. :tiphat:

Sounds like the author packs a lot of serious issues in this short book. I can't imagine having parents with drug abuse issues. Parents have such a big influence on our lives.
I agree. Thanks for your comment, Helene.

Thank you. (I'm a pushover for the occasional Hallmark movie!)

The name grew on me once the pronunciation was clarified. :)

This is the first time I seriously wish that the review contained spoilers. It was such a good review but I wanted to know more (all). Thanks for the review!
