With Penelope and her mother at odds, it adds an element of depth to the surrounding themes of womanhood and value
I think you also have quite a way with how you turn a phrase and express yourself and it is quickly turning you into one of my favorite reviewers. You are obviously intelligent but in a quiet-wisdom way, not a "look-at-me-I-know-a-lot-of-big-words" way. But mostly, I sense your commitment to digging deeper into the books you read. When I checked out your Review page it was eclectic. Truly all over the place. It demonstrated to me someone willing to reach for any genre because they're on a search. What's nice is that through your reviews, you're taking us on your quest as well. Yet always keeping in mind that we are not you. Which is evident in each review for the amount of time you devote telling us who you think your latest read would appeal to and (infinitely more important) who will benefit from it. But in the long run, I can tell you simply enjoy a good story because you pass on that enthusiasm to us.
I think I've gushed about you enough but genuine praise is rare to receive and even rarer to be deserved.

Sincerely, Laura-Lee
And they sang a new song saying,
"You are worthy to take the book,
and to open its to seals,
for You were slain and have redeemed us to God,
by your blood, out of every tribe and tongue and people and Nation." Rev. 5:9
