The sample quickly captured my attention. I've already started to read further, but now I'm wondering if I shouldn't go back and read the first book about Jessie and Lucien first? I'm also curious about the ages. It seemed to indicate in the sample that she was 14ish when she was kidnapped, but they talk about her and Jayden as if they were much older than that.
