Do you remember your first romance novel?

What's it's name? And what interested you the most about it?

yes, I remember my first romance novel.

The special one, The most interesting thing about it is a girl was running through the woods even if her feet are bloody and bare while her lungs felt like hellfire.

I do :) it was "White Gauntlet" by Thomas Mayne Reid. I also remember the first contemporary romance novel I read and loved it as a teen, but, unfortunately, I cannot remember the title. I even tried searching based on the plot, but, well... Maybe I will try again. :)

It was either Wanderlust or Zoya by Danielle Steele. I loved both of those books when I read them in high school!

My First Romance book was "She Died Yesterday". I have forgotten the author. A man loved a woman and decided to make her his queen. But later in the course of time, the man decided to move on since the lady was not forth coming

If I remember correctly, my first romance novel was Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella. I was in 4th grade and probably not supposed to have found that on the shelf to be honest. But I did eventually follow the series up until the 6th book. Stopped after that because I got a little tired of the main character. It will always have a special place in my heart for the love of literature it helped grow. Would recommend the book and the series as a whole!

Sadly, I don’t remember the title. I know the cover had a red, flowing, silk dress. The setting was in the 19th century and had to do with a high up man and a woman who wasn’t drawn to him instantly. I remember loving it and it sparked my interest for romance novels. I miss it. ☹️

I remember it so well, it was actually the book that made me fall in love with reading. It's a german trilogy called Rubinrot about time-travel. I love re-reading it.

I do remember my first romance novel.
It was a Bengali book, named 'Sraban-Sandhya'. It was gifted to me by my boyfriend.

Now that I think about it, I do not. The first one that came to mind was the classic 'Pride and Prejudice' but I read that when I was a teenager and I've been an avid reader since I was a child.

I will try to remember anything before that! :techie-studyingbrown:

Mansfield Park by Jane Austen. After that, I binge-read all of Jane Austen's novels, and now I can't even imagine my life without reading romance.

I read my first romance purely by accident when I was younger. I think it was a Mills and Boon book called Desperate Measures. After that I grabbed all the books in my mother's library and devoured everything I could find elsewhere.

My first romance was A WALK TO REMEMBER by Nicholas Sparks. I really remember the walk until now and won't be able to until lifetime. It is obviously interesting throughout.
