I enjoy many different authors, but Karen Kingsbury, Adrianna Trigiani and Phyllis Whitney are a few of my absolute favorites. I think I have all of Adrianna's books and most of Karen's. I read Phyllis many times during my teen years and have begun rereading them as an adult. I enjoy a good mystery as well as the feel good books that Karen writes.

I was first taken into Adrianna's books when I read Big Stone Gap as Big Stone Gap, Virginia is a town near the small town that my dad was from and I have visited there many times in my childhood. The characters in the book resonated with me as I could almost picture people from the area that would fit each character.

RM-SM wrote: 12 Mar 2020, 19:14 I love Stephen King writing! I could almost believe I could bump into one of his characters on the street! I didn't read the book but I watched the Mist movie. It felt amazingly real. I also own the Pet Semeatary novel. That is very life-like too :) sorry for the long post
I have watched many Stephen King movies, but I have never read anything written by him. I might have to check something out by him once the library reopens.

I really enjoyed Oliver Boden's Assasins Creed book series. However, Madeleine Roux would hold this possition at the present time.

I love Nalini Singh! She has a long-running paranormal romance series known as the Psy/Changeling series. Her books progress at just the right pace to build up the tension between characters. All the books in the series are really good! She also has another series which are all standalone stories. One book in that series, Rock Hard, was the first non-paranormal romance book I'd read in a while and it was everything I was looking for.

Yes, Kresley Cole is pretty great. Although her Immortals After Dark series got a bit confusing as the books went on. I ended up reading a few of them as if they were standalone stories.

I absolutely love Nora Roberts!!! I can read any of her books without prior recommendation. She writes so beautifully, it's intriguing.
I also love Susan King, Tomi Adeyemi, and Karen Kingsbury.

As a kid I read all the books by Enid Blyton. But now I think it is Dan Brown’s books that I am totally addicted to! Specially the Langdon series..

Right now my addiction is Jo Nesbo and before it used to be Dan Brown and before that Sidney Sheldon and then John Green and then JK Rowling. Now I'm all into thrillers and I'm addicted to it.
