My top three authors change all the time because I honor all the talented people that can put words to paper and make me travel to a new time and place. My top three currently are Linda Fairstein, Jayne Ann Krentz, and Dan Brown.

1. Dickens: effortlessly witty
2. Tolstoy: excruciatingly intricate (pleasure pain)
3. Barbara Kingsolver: modern, relatable, humorous, intelligent

I have to say J R R Tolkien and Sir Author Conan Doyle for their writing styles and more recently I think I have to add Patrick Rothfuss to this list. I wish he were a more prolific writer, but the other two were not exactly machine when it came to churning out new works either.

If I had to pick just three it would have to be
George R.R. Martin because every single word has their place is his books, overlooking just one could lead you to misunderstanding the story.
Kelley Armstrong because she brought Clay and Elena into my life.
Marie Lu because she is legend.

Wow, picking three authors to choose from is very hard to do. There are so many good authors out there.

My top three would probably have to be:
1) Stephanie Meyer.
2) Iris Johansen
3) Lori Wick

I would have to say my three top favorite authors are Karen Kingsbury, J. K. Rowling, and Jane Austen. Karen Kingsbury is my go to author for a happily-ever-after story. I like J. K. Rowling for the Harry Potter series, which I find to be one of the most intricate series I have ever read. I love Jane Austen for Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility.

Sincerely,
Jessica
