I would ask Agnes Wickfield from David Copperfield to marry me.

I would ask Deuce from the Razorland series how many scars does she have. Seriously, she kept getting hurt in every chapter.

@Bok48. And I would be inclined to ask the Prodigal Son's brothers how they felt when he was treated so much better than they were. Okay, I KNOW it's a parable and not about real people, and I KNOW it's about God's grace, but there are folk who act like that in real life. Don't get me wrong, I totally believe in forgiveness and second chances, but there still seems something not quite right about this particular parable!

Forgive me for not having an earth-shattering, deeply academic answer.

I would ask Atticus Finch to marry me! :D

I would ask their opinion of feminism and whether they agree with the 'men are trash' statement. This may seem petty but I think it's really important to tear down harmful stereotypes.

I would ask Aslan if he has more forms in the other worlds. In The Magician's Nephew it is revealed that there are far more worlds than the three or so focused on in the Chronicles of Narnia (the human world, Narnia, and Charn).

If I was to interview the Detective Sherlock Holmes character by Authur Conan Doyle. I would ask him; "Sir, could I borrow that investigative mind of yours to solve crimes because currently there is so much injustice caused by criminal minds in our world today."
a musical mind!
