I enjoyed Dr Seuss when I was very young, and authors such as C S Lewis, Lewis Carroll, Jacqueline Wilson, Lemony Snicket, J K Rowling, and many others when I was old enough to read novels.
There are a few that I will still go back and read now I'm in my 20s because the stories are so vivid and exciting

As I've said already, their work is very descriptive and immersive. The worlds they build are so vibrant, and the characters feel diverse and interesting. Their work focuses primarily on the lives and societies of wildlife. My favorite work of theirs, and favorite book series period, remains to be Warriors. It focuses on clans of wild cats that live in defined territories while battling over food and borders. It does get graphic, and there are often plots involving murder, so it may not be best suited for very young readers, but it does entertain many people ranging from grade school to college.
The following they've built is mighty impressive, and their books feel unique to other works I've read. I definitely recommend checking them out.

There were countless series with multiple authors that I adored - but those top two are who I’m currently attempting to get my 7 year old son into reading. I just loved them.

The covers are also fun and colorful and follow the same art style. The illustrator did a great job.

What is funny/strange, is that I know that most of his books have been translated into other languages but haven't heard any non Greek person talking about him. Oh well...
