Anne McCaffrey. The Dragonriders of Pern hooked me. I read everything else she'd written. Each and every book was wonderful!

I didn't have a favorite author when I was a kid. I just wanted to read everything, by anybody! When I grew up, it was Stephen King - and it still is!

When I first started reading as a preteen the Flowers in the Attic books had just started coming out so I had to read everything by V C Andrews. After that, I was not really dedicated to any specific author, I was just hooked on reading until I read my first Anne Rice book. I ravenously devoured everything that she wrote and still do. Her words just flow off the page and create such incredible images in my head. I have never just read one author though, I read almost anything by anyone.

It's kind of cliched but I used to want to read everything by J.K. Rowling. Nowadays, it's my goal to read everything I can get by Terry Pratchett and Marie Brennan.

When "To All the Boys I Loved Before" by Jenny Han was published, I knew I had to read it. After I finished the first book in a single day, I read the next two books. This series was incredible and one of my favorites to read. I love teen romance novels and just the sweet nature of Peter Kavinsky swept me off my feet.

J.K. Rowling. I read every single one of her books followed closely by Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes which I burnt through in the span of a week. However, the first author whose books I found myself really wanting to buy were Melissa Marr's. The Wicked Lovely series has been a favourite since I was 15.

I loved the Sweet Valley High series when I was younger. I can remember going to the library and being so disappointed when the next in the series was checked out.

It would be the Bulldog Drummond series by Sapper. At least I got to finish the series. The rest of the other authors like Agatha Christie, the list of unread books remains pending.

Hans Christian Andersen, The Brothers Grimm, and Doctor Seuss. I started that young. ;)
By 3rd grade I was into E.B.White, Beverly Cleary, and Ronald Dahl.
In my teens, S.E.Hinton, Shakespeare, and Emily Dickinson.
Then, I went on to CS Lewis, JRR Tolkien, and Mercedes Lackey.
I went through a VC Andrews phase in my twenties. I was OBSESSED.

Now I must read all GRRM and MC Beaton. ;)
Currently writing: Charmed Lives, Sovereign Eyes, and Corithian Saga
