Yes, I have read this book to a second-grader. He liked the illustrations. It made him smile to see kids doing relatable activities that he does at school. His favorite part of the book was towards the end when the activities became fantasy-like. That part made him laugh at how silly it would be if he did those activities in school. He also liked that the book rhymed.
