Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

I have never read a children's story before that focuses more on questions (that could be asked between adults and children) than on the actual story or the main characters. Of course, for those who want a character-centric story, this may not be suitable for them.

Overall, I believe the book is a novelty in its focus. It offers a refreshing perspective that leaves room to reflections and teachings. I honestly appreciated this unique short story very much.

First I liked that it took me straight to those childhood days when my parents would ask me that same question and second, that it is a book that goes beyond the norm.

The most likable aspect for me was the incredible presentation of the content. The author put a lot of thoughts into each questions. These questions not only encourage the children but also they'll learn valuable lessons through questions such as "did they share their lunch and make a friend happy."

I loved the sense of adventure as the parent kept guessing wilder and grander things the child might have done at school that day. And the ending of the book, with mom and child snuggled up together, brought us out of the imagination trip we had taken and closed out the story very nicely.

I liked the book's cover, the illustrations and the questions. But what I liked most are the questions. They are so simple yet so engaging, offering a good opportunity for parents to bond with their kids.

What I liked most in this book is the childhood memories it evoked in me. Those questions about school activities took me to places past, and I really appreciated this.

One of the things I liked most about What Did You Do at School Today? by C.C. Lacavera is how it captures the everyday experiences of school life in a relatable and engaging way. The storytelling feels authentic, making it easy to connect with the characters and their experiences. I also appreciate the way it balances humor and meaningful lessons.

As many readers, I agree that this resembles our childhoods. I personally went home walking, about 10 to 12 minutes very slow with my mom asking me the numbers. "7x8 and 7x9" will forever be my nightmare, as I could never get it right or (even now) memorize it properly. This book reminds us of the importance of those short periods of time, that ends so fast. The 10 minutes we spend talking about my day at school were so important that I still remember it to this day.
