Idea: Sharing on YouTube

Post by Yssimnar »

This is just an idea, but I have done some art book reviews on YouTube that have gotten traction in the past. It would be cool if I were to summarize a book on the YouTube channel with a link to the full written review and get popularity points for doing this. They take lot of work, but I have over a thousand hits for a couple of my book review videos, yet the channel isn't even well established.

I think this is a good idea if adopted.

May I ask what is the name of your youtube channel? Reviewing books on youtube sounds interesting.

I don't have a channel for reviewing books, but I was thinking about starting one. I have reviewed a few art books on my current channel which is more about art and painting.

To read or not to read? That's not even a question!

I think this would be a great idea, but not as a requirement. Not everyone might want to, bea able to or be good at or creating Youtube videos. So to have that as a requirement for moving up the levels would be quite unfair to some, in my opinion.

I think it is a good idea but it will take a lot of courage for me to actually go through it.

Oooo please, don't add that. some of us are not that social and media-loving. I am already struggling with my popularity section as I did not even have a Facebook account.
Feeling upset sometimes may be unavoidable, but acting distressed is always optional.

Thank you :tiphat: If it is added as an option, then it would be a requirement as well. The popularity points are distributed to each social media. I wish this is suggestion is not considered.

I think it's a splendid idea. Although you'd need a lot more views to get people to consider clicking links

Wow, I think doing a video could be something really difficult for those who are introvert people, sounds good as an option of the written review, but not as a requirement.
