Books that have been made into movies are not allowed as BOTM, so any nomination that has been adapted is removed before voting.TopaAzul062 wrote: ↑10 Aug 2019, 11:32 Will this apply to all the book suggestions that have been made into movies? Also is there a way to nominate book that is seen as not popular among bookshelves?
There is no way to work around the popularity rule. However, some books get added multiple times by different members, so you can check for any duplicates and report them for merging. Once merged, any members who had an alternate entry of the book will be combined into the correct version.
(However, there hasn't been a voted on BOTM is quite a while, and I doubt there will be one any time soon.)
