Making a PDF book to a Mobi version

Post by Gloriannes »

I'm so excited, I received a book from the review team that was a PDF, that's OK but I have a 2 hour drive I listen to books as I drive. I read fast too but I really wanted to get started on this book, it's been on my "to read" list for a few months. but as it's not in the kindle form I was holding off till I take a vacation. Well Tonight I found a site that will take your file and convert it to what form you need.
Zamzar is the name, this is not a advertisement just for information to anyone that is in need of a good Mobi converter.

eBooks are electronic copies of your favorite book titles. The content is identical except that there are extra features in our eBooks, such as bookmarks and links between problems and solutions.

You can download eBooks and read them immediately. In most cases, they are cheaper than their paperback counterparts. eBooks also offer the convenience of portability since you can store your own personal library of eBooks on your PC, laptop or handheld device.

I also use Zamzar to convert pdf files to mobi. I just discovered them recently and now I have the freedom to read my books on the run.

Dhomespot, yes I agree. I was not sure about doing reviews when I read I might have to use PDF or paperback. I really think where there is a will there is a way....

Happy Reading

I heard about and use Caliber. It seems to convert almost any type of book file to almost any other type of book file.

I myself use the Calibre book converter. With this software you can take any book file and convert it to the .mobi format for the kindle. And it converts very quick.
