I read the book and think it was really good and fits nicely into the historical fiction category. The cover of the book piqued my interest and helped in my choice of picking a book to read. I enjoyed the characters and the writer keeping it real as to the time the story has been portrayed in. It also addressed the political views and imperfections at the time. The book addresses the illness in society from all sides. The author keeps it real.
I had a great trip down memory lane with the music references. I will recommend this to anyone because of the history connected to it. I rated it 4 stars.

The author has done an amazing job with this book. The writing style is easy to understand, even for beginner readers, and each character is well described. The character development shown is also remarkable. The author has shown the Vietnam War from different perspectives. The way Roxy and Steve also stand for what they believe in and how they always give each other strength is really motivating and heartwarming.

The book depicts the Vietnam War and its consequences on the lives of the people. Peter did a great job in this book. The story is well-written and portrays strong themes that will cause one to consider. What I love most about the book is Steve Logan determined spirit in trying to bring a change in the corrupt system. I love every piece in this wonderfully crafted historical fiction and I rated it 4 out of 4 stars.

This book evoked a lot of emotions in me. I hate war an I felt pity for the victims. I believe that war should be avoided at all cost.

When I read the book, I enjoyed it but I felt the book ended abruptly. I wanted to know more about Steve's future. I'm wondering if there would be a sequel.

This is a great story. The issues the author highlighted were very contemporary. This made the story credible.

I haven't read this book to completion yet. But the writing style is quite pleasant and somewhat unique. It's looking like a book that describes wars and incessant killings. I'm reading it soon.

From the look of things, and how this book is described, it may contain wars and content of killings. I'm not sure yet of the full plot but I think it has a unique style. I'm hoping it will be a favourable read for me.
