Can this book be downloaded in pdf form?
You can't read books on Calibre. You need one of the Apps to read the book. If you want to read it on the Kindle app, you need to convert the book to Mobi via the free Calibre App.

Once chosen, the format can't be changed. You can change it to pdf via the Calibre app.

Have you saved the file when downloading it? You should download and save it on your PC, and then move it to your device. You should google it, if you don't know how to.

You can't read epub on kindle. Are you sure it was epub and not mobi?

You need a mobi file to read the book on the Kindle App. You should try to convert the book via the free Calibre App and then move it to your device. If it doesn't help, you should report it via your Update tab.

I couldn't open an epub book in the kindle app, so I used an ebook converter and made it into a mobi file. I then easily opened the book on the Kindle App!

You need the Nook App to read it. You can try to convert it to pdf or Mobi via the free Calibre App. You need the Kindle App for the Mobi, but you may be able to read the pdf on your PC.

If you can't read the book, you should quit it via your Update tab.

You need to convert the file to Mobi via the free Calibre App, as the Kindle App reads Mobi format only.
