The issue seems to be with your Kindle, not with the book.Andrew Atkinson 2 wrote: ↑26 Aug 2021, 09:55 I tried to download a book to review. I used calibre to convert it to both mobi and pdf and transferred them to my kindle, but when I look for them they're not there. I haven't had this problem before. I usually just search for the file name on my kindle and open them up from the search list.

4. I tried to download Nook, but it said: This app is not available on any of your devices.
5. Where I went wrong is I chose a book in epub format instead of choosing a book in PDF format, which my device is likely to be able to read. So I need to choose a different book to review.
6. Nook says the app is not available on my devices.
7. Yes, I tried the Top Tips.

You can try to convert the file to PDF via the free Calibre App. Otherwise, nothing you can do except quitting the book via your Update tab.

4. Once the file is downloaded, an icon appears at the top of my phone, I click and it opens. If that doesn't work, I can often go into my "files" under settings and go to downloads and find it
5. When I clicked on the icon, it began to open, I could read the title, then it just closed. I went into files, but do not see the pdf anywhere.
6. No
7. I do not see the file under files and cannot open it with Kindle

4. I was planning on downloading an .epub reader after, but it seems that the file won't finish downloading. I've tried various browsers, clearing my cache, etc.
5/6. No error, it just won't complete. This might just be an issue with my device; I wanted to post here just in case since it's likely wrong to report this as an error and there weren't many other options. I applied/ received an extension for downloading the book so far; could I quit the book instead?
7. I read the top tips.
Thanks in advance!!

Have you tried to download it to your PC? If you want to quit the book, you should quit it via your Update tab by choosing the 'can't finish' option.maggietsereviews wrote: ↑27 Aug 2021, 23:54 1. epub

You can't open PDF on Kindle. You need to convert it to MOBI and then move it to your device. You also need to save the file when downloading it.

You need the Nook App to open it. If the tips don't help, you need to quit the book via your Update tab.Eunice Sokoto wrote: ↑02 Sep 2021, 11:17 1.Epub
