I think ebooks save me money because it saves me from the stress of going to look for books and even that time that I would have used in book searching is saved. I could at least do something profitable with the time.

Yes they do...... An eBook reader costs only one tie and after that you can just download books and read them on the go but if you buy paperback books then you must buy new ones

It does save money since you can find a lot of free books but as for new releases, I think it cost the same as the physical book.

I think so, in my own view where in tablets, mobile phones, laptop or computer are rapidly growing and people now adays preferred using digital devices. It has a lot of advantages than disadvantages of using it. But as a student it is really helps me saving money. Textbooks cost to expensive in our country.

For the most part I feel like I save money with my e-reader, however thats only if I want the book brand new or its public domain. Some of the books I've wanted are actually more in ebook form than paper form!

It does for me because I read a lot of books that are for free on my e-reader or from Guttenbergs project site.

I don't think I save money, but I think I save on space when I opt for ebooks instead of paperbacks. And, there is a serious space crunch in most apartments nowadays!

Yeah, I'm one of those too...Too many free ebooks that I never have to buy one.

Having an e-reader is great because there are a ton of free books you can download, and usually the others don't cost as much as a physical copy. However, you litterally have millions of books at your fingertips and it is very easy to hit that "read now" button. If you are looking to save money you need to budget, set goals, and stick to them. If you do that first, you can read however you want. :tiphat:

I think having an e-reader does save me money. I have so many free and cheap books on my Kindle, it's insane. But I love it. It also saves space in my room.

The difference in price between the two isn't big, and I always say that if I'm going to spend money on books, I'd rather buy them as physical copies. I only buy e-books if I couldn't find a book as a physical copy, which is not rare since most books aren't available in my country.

It actually saves me money, because I don't have to travel to the book store (or pay for online shipping)! There are also many free ebooks and daily deals that I get books from!

I like the mobility of e-books, but if I'm spending money, I prefer to have a physical copy.

I do wish book stores would give you a digital version too. They do it with movies!
