Does anyone get the E-book samples before the actual book?

Of course! It is a great way to get some insight on whether I'll like the book! And being able to read a sample is just amazing! Like an extra privilege! How can I resist?

I never get the samples because I feel like they're a tease. But if the book sucks I might want to know that from the beginning before I buy it. The beginning of the book is one of the most important I guess. If it doesn't start well, why would it end well?

Yes! I love being able to sample the first chapter. You can really get a feel for the quality of the story based on how the first chapter is written. It is also helpful for non-fiction, to see if the writing is too dry or not.

Before joining OBC? No, not really. I'm kind of picky about the books I read for personal pleasure, so I can usually tell by the synopsis if I like it or not. After I joined OBC? Yep. It's opened up whole new branches of fiction for me.

oh yes! I am an e-reader and before buying any book i first download its sample. and believe me they are always free coz they need to attract people to read their, they want their books to be sold girl! so good luck downloading your free ebook samples!

I often download the sample before I purchase the book, especially if I have never read a book by that author.

I have done so in the past but found that I typically don't end up reading the book since its the sample and I forget about it. So now if I think I will like the book, I will just borrow it or buy it.

I do that but not all the time. Sometimes I wait it out so I can enjoy a full-fledged curiosity.

I think you can get free sample from Kindle or amazon then decide whether to buy it
