I also prefer reading a paper book rather than reading a book on a screen. It is hard in one's eyes when we reads for a long time on a computer screen. I think paper books are better for our eyes. Ebooks are cheaper and more convenient for many people. They don't need to take a book with them if they travel , if they take their laptop or kindle. In that way, they can work and read a book on the same device.

I honestly don't have a preference. I like ebooks because you can read on the go, but their some satisfaction that comes with owning a paper book.

I am beyond fascinated at how this thread has evolved from 2007 to now.

Personally, eBooks are a great addition for every reader.
Although my preference is still a good hardcover book, it's not always possible to carry your favorite books with you in all situations. So having them available as eBooks on one or more of your favorite smart devices, allows you the opportunity to keep up with what you love the most.

Reading ebooks is simply convenient and very device-friendly. Some of them are free or at at least a meager cost. Ebooks are the fruit of modernity, and we anticipate things to go smoothly like this.

Initially I found it hard to read an ebook, but now I am used to it. With practice, you too will finally get used to it.

I read eBooks simply because they are cheaper. They cannot, for me, take the place of paperbacks. The feeling of turning a page can never be replaced by scrolling!
