I would buy the two if I was rich enough to afford it. They are both useful in different situations.

If I had the money, I would have both versions for every book I have ever read. For convenience sake of course. And because I am a little vain.

If I were wealthy enough, I would stock my large shelf in front of the door of my room with as many books as I could afford. I would then gladly lend to anyone who requested it. My eyes would no longer suffer from the damage caused by staring at my phone all day.

No...
I like my book to be my book. Once you have two copies in print, the feeling is gone.
E-books are not worth mentioning in this context...

I would for some books, but I would try to have an enormous library (like the one the Beast from Beauty and the Beast had) with all the physical copies, with glass so they don't collect that much dust

If I had the money, I would certainly own a physical library that can house thousands of books. There is a homely feeling to it that is unmatched by an E-book library.

I have Kindle Unlimited so that I always have a book handy and don't have to carry a physical copy around me all the time. I like to read physical at home. This has helped me to read more books because I can read up to 2 books per week. If I have a book on the Kindle Unlimited. I can read it at lunch and breaks at work. I can also read while I am waiting somewhere in line for my appointment. There are many advantages to having both.

There are books that I would love to have, both the hard copy and eBook versions. However, I don't have the resources to afford both versions of every book in my library.

Personally if I had all the money in the world, I would use it for hardcover books. These are a luxury of reading and I would appreciate having those on my bookshelves. Ereaders are convenient, but not so much fun to collect

If I were wealthy enough, I would buy both the paperback and the ebook versions. I have a handful of books that are available in both versions. I adore those books so deeply that I brought an electronic copy of them with me to school so that I could reread them whenever I wanted.

Certainly will! In fact, I'd like them in three formats, along with audio books. I already practice this, but only for books that I genuinely enjoy

This is my exact situation. I would definitely have both if I could.

Because I usually read eBooks first, I end up buying the paperback. I am sure I would buy both versions if I have the resources.
