Your favorite Android eReader app?

Post by 9bit »

Instead of a standalone eReader I use my Android tablet to read eBooks. As some of you may know, there is a plethora of eReader apps on the Google Play marketplace.

For the longest time I used Aldiko for everything, but I recently found out about an app called Cool Reader. It is by far the best eReader app I've ever used. It's highly customizable and has a lot of cool features that you may not even realize you want until you've had them!

But I'm always on the lookout for something I might like more. So tell me, if you read eBooks on an Android device, what app do you use? And if you haven't checked out Cool Reader, please give it a try: I highly recommend it!

I use a smartphone to read the ebooks. My most favourite apps are kindle for android and xodo app. Both of the are perfect and have many functions Luke the bookmarking function and you can resume from the same page you left while reading the book last time.

My favorite, and what I assume will be yours too after you try it too, is the wattpad app. You don't need to spend money to get quality books, just download them and read! And here's more, you can write your own book on the app if interested.

I have Kindle, Cool Reader and AIreader in my android phone. These have not satisfied my need for a better ereader application. Any suggestions, guys?

I had no idea there were other ereader apps. I just use Kindle app. I'm curious what the other apps do, but I'm pretty satisfied with kindle.

I'm using Moon + Reader for my tablet. Quite versatile, especially with the so useful epub formats. There are some restricted functions for paid users, but you can find the way back to them if you know how to use all of its functions. Also, the management of brightness and opacity is practical to counter part of the problem of having a standard screen instead of the opaque one of an ebook.

I use the kindle app to read books. It's easy for me to read some of a book on my tablet and continue reading it later my smart phone since the app sync's to your last read location.
